As the politics of 2022 take form, he has kept a quiet profile. Here is a biography of a man who could be described as the consummate politician.
Ababu Namwamba Education
Milimani Nursery in Eldoret, Port Victoria Primary School in Western, and Kolanya Boys High School in Teso North were among his schools.
He attended the University of Nairobi from 1993 to 1997 after finishing his Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE). Later, he attended the Kenya School of Law before completing his Master of Laws Degree (LLM) in international law at the Washington College of Law in the United States, where he finished in 2004.

His mother's name is Mama Agatha Maina Namwamba, and his father's name is the late Peter Namwamba Lwecheche.
Ababu Namwamba's Professional Career
In 1996, while still a student at the institution, he was voted student leader. During this period, he chaired the Kenya Law Students Society and had the opportunity to meet notable persons such as former UN Secretary General Kofi Annan. This broadened his horizons, and he realized he wanted to work in diplomacy.
He worked at the Public Law Institute (PLI), Kenya's first civil society organization for public interest, until 2002.
Following his departure from PLI, he established the chambers of justice, a public interest trust that he led as chief counsel until 2007. The lawyer also established his own legal firm, Ababu Namwamba Attorneys-at-law.
In 2003, he established the Ababu Namwamba Foundation. The private nonprofit helps young Kenyans from primary school to university level education throughout the country. The same year, he won a constitutional case that upheld the rights of children suffering with HIV/AIDS. This action was launched when two schools in Ngong and Karen prevented HIV/AIDS patients from attending Nyumbani Children's Home. The case helped him gain international recognition.
In 2004, he won a landmark legal battle which was a one of a kind in the country. A Kenyan born in Pakistan was wrongfully accused of terrorism.

He left the ODM in 2016 to join the Labor Party of Kenya, where he is currently the leader. The party announced its support for President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2017, and Ababu lost his Budalangi seat the next year.
He has been the Chief Administrative Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 2018.
