Juma Jux was born to parents that were enthusiastic about his chosen career and wanted him to succeed.
Juma Jux disclosed in a 2019 interview with Mseto East Africa that his father died about 9 years ago. He mentioned that after his father died, his mother was very supportive, going out of her way to pay for his first video shoot after he got into the music industry.
Juma Jux was formerly in a relationship with Vanessa Mdee, however their relationship did not last and they ended it.
Jux has tried to stay under the spotlight since splitting up with Vanessa Mdee, but his celebrity lifestyle does not allow him to. In fact, he has made numerous public comments about Vanessa Mdee's life, including mocking her for abandoning music.
He went on to date Huddah Monroe but it seems they are now expectang a baby with Paula Kajala
Juma Jux began as a rapper, releasing his first single "Nakudata" in 2005 before transitioning to R&B. Later, in 2008, he created the music group Wakacha alongside Kamikaze and Gigga Flow, and they had songs such as "Facebook Gal," "Here We Go," and "Mimi na Wewe."
He then signed with Manecky, who urged him to take a different approach with his songs, which is when he chose to go solo.
Jux recorded a series of popular singles under the A.m record label, including "Napata raha," "Sipati karaha," and "Mwambie yeye" produced by Manecky, "Uzuri wako," and his current track "Nitasubiri" produced by Bob Manecky, which is doing well in the music charts.
He made his Coke Studio debut.
