REVEALED! What really happened in the death of Bishop Elizabeth Githinji in Kasarani

According to a police report filed at the Kahawa West Police Station in Nairobi's Kasarani Sub-County, Dishon Mirugi the gospel musician claimed to have told her to wash his clothes before leaving to attend to some business along Thika Road.

Moments before Elizabeth's death death

The artist allegedly contacted Githinji, who did not return his calls. According to the police report, the musician returned home to find the pastor hanging from a bed sheet.
According to detectives familiar with the case, the pastor was suspected of being involved in a love triangle with the gospel artist and a senior real estate dealer. The singer referred to Githinji as his ex-girlfriend in the report.

"He reported that he left his ex-girlfriend in his house and left for Thika Road and later tried reaching her through the phone, but she was not responding."

Elizabeth's actual death?

"He rushed back to the house in Maziwa sub-location and discovered her hanging from [a bed sheet tied to] the frame of his wardrobe, according to the police report.

The gospel singer is said to have driven the body to Jacaranda Maternity Hospital, where she was pronounced dead on arrival.

The musician, according to the police report, took the body from the hospital to the Kahawa West police station. Police officers escorted her body to Kenyatta University Teaching, Research, and Referral Hospital (KUTRRH).

On Sunday, March 19, the gospel artist recorded a statement at the DCI headquarters along Kiambu Road as police investigated the events that led to the pastor's death.

The detectives also paid a visit to the Dishon's home in order to collect samples and evidence that could lead to new leads in the investigation.

The news of Githinji's death sparked outrage on social media, with many urging the police to speed up their investigations.

"Only in Kenya would a person drive from Nakuru to your house and commit suicide. There is an issue somewhere."

"It really screams sour relationship, "crime of passion," even without further investigation, according to some online comments.
