Mirugi Dishon, a Kikuyu gospel singer, is on the scene after a female pastor died in his home over the weekend.
Pastor Elizabeth Githinga is said to have visited the musician in Kahawa West, but she died moments later.
Mirugi told police that the two were ex-lovers, and that when she arrived at his house yesterday, she offered to wash his clothes.
Mr Paul Mathenge Wanderi alias Dishon Mirugi, a famous musician, drove for hours with the body of Ms Elizabeth Wanjiru, a pastor, inside his car with registration number KCA 505J before finally transporting the body to the Kenyatta University (KU) morgue.
He told police that his ex-girlfriend, Ms Wanjiru, committed suicide by hanging herself inside his house in Maziwa, Kahawa West, Kasarani Sub-County.

The death of Elizabeth Githingi is being investigated by detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
Mirugi previously stated in an interview with Jeff Kuria TV that he was born and raised in Nyandarua county.
Dishon Mirugi struggled in school because he was abusing drugs.
In KCPE, he received approximately 300 points out of a possible 700.
In school, he excelled in both English and Kikuyu.
His father worked as a gubaro teacher.
Before he was saved, he had dreadlocks.
He serves as a minister at the Flying Eagle International Ministry on Thika Road.
He has had success with gospel songs.
