Kosovo will look to finish their Euro 2024 qualifying campaign with a win over Belarus at Stadiumi Fadil Vokrri after drawing with Switzerland at St. Jakob-Park. The Kosovars have been impressive in the November qualifying window, and as a result, the bookies have them as favorites to win Tuesday's match. With both Milot Rashica and Vedat Muriqi out due to injuries, Clermont forward Elbasan Rashani will be one to watch in the home team.
Muhamet Hyseni of FK Llapi should be recalled to the starting lineup after scoring the equalizer against the Rossocrociati. Meanwhile, Belarus won a hard-fought 1-0 match against Andorra over the weekend, but they will face a much bigger challenge against Kosovo, who are a real force at home. In the away team, experienced attacker Denis Laptev is vying for a starting spot after scoring the game-winning goal against the Andorrans.
This match will take place on November 21, 2023, at 23:45.
TEAM OF THE YEAR (BELARUS):
Belarus
Since 1992, the Belarus national football team has competed on the international stage. Belarus played their first match against Lithuania on July 20, 1992, but the game was not sanctioned by FIFA. In their first official match, the White Wings faced Ukraine, with the team splitting the spoils with the fellow former Soviet republic.
Belarus has yet to qualify for a major tournament and has only a slim chance of making the 2018 FIFA World Cup. The Belarusians' biggest win came on September 4, 2014, when they defeated Tajikistan 6-1 in Borisov. Their biggest loss came on June 11, 2003, when they were defeated by Austria (0-5).
Alexander Hleb is the most well-known footballer to have represented Belarus, and it is well known that he spent four seasons at Barcelona. Belarus plays their home games at Borisov Arena, and they welcome their opponents in white shirts and shorts. Their away kits are black in color.
Kosovo can certainly take positives from their overall performance in this section, with two defeats from nine matches a strong record. Belarus actually beat Kosovo 2-1 in the reverse match back in June, but we are backing the home side to claim all three points on Tuesday night
We predict 2-1 to the homeside, Kosovo
