Wuod Fibi Controversies

Wuod Fibi, the owner and point man of Barikiwa Studios and a prominent Luo music producer and'mambo Yabadilika' hitmaker, has been accused of exploiting his signed musicians by stealing their songs and, in some cases, getting money from them but failing to create the songs.

- In a famous Facebook community called Kisumu Dads, Wuod Fibi of Barikiwa Studios was labeled a scammer by one Maryline Jaber Nyar Odero, for illegally obtaining money on behalf of his artists that he does not deserve.

 - Barikiwa Studios is well-known for generating numerous successes for various Luo musicians, including:

- The Nyoremo album by Johnny Junior,

Koffi MacAdory's Thum Dhi Siaya Kababa

- the song's album, Emma Jalamo's Mapenzi album, and Musa Jakadalla's Hera Remo, to name a few.

-Wuod Fibi is a rumba performer in his own right, having abandoned evangelical music in favor of secular rumba.

- He has a lot of successful songs to his credit, including Mago Nonsense, Kula Kwa Macho, and Tit for Tat.

- In the aforementioned Facebook post, written in Dholuo, and subsequent comments from a number of Facebook users, he is accused of profiting from the sweat of fellow artists by collecting money from them and failing to deliver.

- Some remarks stated that he hires'men-in-black' to assault artists or anyone with whom he disagrees.

- Evidence is shown in a Whatsapp message shared on Kisumu Dad's group proving that one John Okumu [Wuod Fibi's true name] received US$ 60 through MPESA from Benta Agenga as payment for composing a song for some musician.
