Background
Frasha grew up in Athi River, on the outskirts of Nairobi, and was childhood friends with Bon'eye, who decided to pursue their childhood dreams of becoming famous musicians, recording a few tracks as Bonie and Frasha before joining forces with Gabu to form the group P-UNIT. Later, as a professional physiotherapist who graduated from Kenya Medical Training College, he worked at the Aga Khan Hospital until 2011, when he left to focus on his music career.
Education
Frasha attended Machakos Boys High School, also known as MacBee, before enrolling in the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) from 1999 to 2002.
A Career in Music
In 2010, Frasha and his crew released the album WagengeHao, which was recorded at Decimal media by Erik Musyoka and featured 17 tracks, including "Kare" (stylized KArE), "HapaKule", "Una" with DNA, "JuuTu Sana", "KushotoKulia", and "Si lazima", the latter two featuring Nonini.In late 2011, they released a song called "Gentleman" with Sauti Sol, which was produced by R-Kay. In the year 2012, they released one of their biggest hits, "You guy (DatDendai)" produced by Decimal's "Erik Musyoka" and featuring Collo. The video was later released, but Citizen TV reportedly banned it because it was too explicit. In March 2013, they released a new single called "Mobimba" that featured AliciosTheluji.

Frasha is married to Maggie, and they have three children: two girls, Shirleen and Esther, and a boy, who was born recently.

1. Frasha is currently a member of the Music Copyright Society of Kenya's budget committee, a position he won last year.
