Evance Ochieng alias Prince Indah as commonly known comes from Ugenya Siaya county and is currently dabbed as the king of ohangla in the Luo land. His artistry and love topics relates well with the Kenyan youths across the country but mainly from the lakeside.
He was mentored by Emma Jalamo who has supposedbly bypassed his mentor in the ohangla business. He is a case of a student becoming better than the teacher.
Prince Indah is currently married to Nyar Migori with whom they have a daughter called Kamara.
He currently has one of the best songs in the ohangla world dabbed 'Adhiambo' featuring Bahati Kenya. He has also had other amazing collabos with Wuod Fibi, Elisha Toto and Kaligraph Jones.
Prince Indah spent some time in the villages of Nairobi and Ugenya. He was raised by a single mother who was unable to afford to feed him well and cover his school expenses. As a result, he quit school and occasionally joined the music industry, where Emma Jalamo paid him 9000 KSH each week.
Prince Indah used the money he had collected to form his own band, "Malaica Musicals Empire."
He is currently one of Kenya's and Luo Nyanza's finest artists. One of the best songs ever written was by Prince Indah, who also wrote "Nyar Joluo," "Mama Watoto," and other hits. With Bahati dabbed Adhiambo, he lately created a masterpiece that drove the internet into a frenzy.
Prince Indah tends to sing about romantic themes; three of his five albums—Cinderela, Kitap Love, and Te amo—are largely about love. The artist might be remembered as one of the greatest to have lived in Luo land. He is actively looking for collaborations with many musicians around the world, including those from Tanzania, the Congo, the United States, etc.
Prince Indah is a married family man with a wife from Migori. She is regularly featured in his songs and together they have a daughter named Kamara.
