Education
She embodies resilience and a spirit that most Kenyan youth do not lose. After graduating from Moi Girls Kamangu high school, she faced anxiety about going to college. With no money or sponsorship to support her education, Pauline ended up in Cabanet Gardens, the address of former President Daniel Arap Moy. Without fear, she asked her GSU officer at her gate if she wanted to meet the president so she could convey her plight. Here are some of the posts she wrote on her blog titled "My Educational Journey - A Story of Pain and Hope": At that time, former president Moi was teaching to his late mother, so I was sure that if I had the chance to meet and talk with her, she would support my education. So I arrived at Cabanet Gardens and fearlessly approached the GSU officers at the gate and told them why I needed to see mzee. I spoke to a woman on the landline who told me to write to the Moi Foundation and ask for sponsorship.I thought this would go a long way.
She didn't meet a strong man, but that didn't dampen her hopes that she would go to college. She applied to the Catholic University and was admitted in January 2007. She only had her 10,000 kes given by the church and her 75,000 ksh left to settle by the end of her semester. Unfortunately for her, the blogger was unable to raise her balance and had to abandon her studies.
Two years later, her friend donated her 100,000 ksh so she could study at her Mount Kenya University. She was able to pay her own bills through her second year at the institution.
The educational institutions she attended are:
Middle School
Moi Girls Kamangu
University
Catholic University
Mt. Kenya University
University of Nairobi (Institute of Diplomacy and International Affairs) - MA in International Relations
Early Life
She was born and raised in Gishiga Village, Kiambu District. Having spent her childhood with her maternal grandmother, she learned to pick coffee from an early age. She then joined her parents in Nairobi, but her mother died when she was ten years old and she was forced to return to her village.
After her high school graduation, she did chores to earn her living. Pauline struggled to pay her school fees. She then joined the American Her Reference Center Library run by the US Embassy in Nairobi. At the facility, she read a number of books on politics and governance, discovering Facebook along the way. Since then, she has grown her social media following, on Facebook she boasts over 130,000 followers and on Twitter she boasts over 40,000 followers. The platform made her famous and attracted attention from political heavyweights.
Career
She founded the Eagles She Leadership Foundation in 2010 and became its executive her director. The Foundation works to advance the voices of young people in policy-making and government affairs.
In 2013, she was an active activist for The National Alliance (TNA) party and also worked as a communications manager. She was also a very strong supporter of the 2017 anniversary party. In one of her posts, Pauline claimed that Lyra knew she was going to lose, so she traveled to the UK instead of campaigning. However, in 2022 succession politics, she appears to favor Laila her Odinga because of his strong views on women's leadership.
“He listens to them and actively participates, because to reach AZIMIO LA UMOJA, women have to participate in the discussion,” their recent tweet said. read part of
In September 2013, Blogger was appointed Communications Specialist at the NEPAD/APRM Kenya Secretariat. It is a semi-autonomous government agency under the State Treasury and Planning.
In this role, she has used various communication platforms to raise awareness and inform the public about programs in which the Secretariat participates at the national level. She has also actively engaged with stakeholders and development partners to create a united front to support various priority projects.
Tourism Board
In August 2020, Pauline was announced as a board member of the Tourism Regulatory Commission.
Shortly after the appointment, Najib Bharala canceled it, saying that the minister did not want to be associated with such people. This comes after a Kenyan posted online screenshots of a post questioning the importance of Nairobi National Park.
"Orphanage" And nature walks make commercial sense, but parks?! In a busy city like Nairobi, it makes no sense to say you can afford to own acres of land in the name of parks. is. The city is literally overcrowded … we also need to talk about rerouting SGR to save economically redundant parks,” reads part of her lengthy post.
Tourism CS said the integrity of the park is very important and the government is committed to protecting the park. He went on to say that he was unaware of her feelings and thanked netizens for doing a background check on her.
