Amira was going about her business as a mother and entrepreneur when she was thrust into the spotlight. Most people in the country had never heard of her, but almost every social media user now knows who she is. She rose to prominence after her husband, Jamal Roho Safi, began dating popular socialite Faith Makau, also known as Amber Ray.
Within minutes, social media was ablaze with speculation about her and her co-wife. Amira used the popular quote Maembe ni ya Misimu, which means mangoes are only seasonal, to start throwing words at each other.
She said this in reference to Amber Ray, who she said was only in her husband's life for a season. The animosity between the two women has grown tremendously, and Amber Ray recently shared a video of the two arguing. The two argued, with Amber saying derogatory things about her and even throwing shade at her body. Amira, on the other hand, was only heard saying that she blames their husband and not Amber Ray.
Family
Amira is a mother to two wonderful sons whom she had with Jamal Roho Safi.
When and how she met Jamal
They met in high school and have been together ever since. She has been by her husband's side through thick and thin, and she has seen him grow into the wealthy man he is today. In fact, in an earlier interview with Jalang'o, Jamal revealed his wife would wash for him even the few boxers he had.
However, when Jamal married another woman, things took a turn for the worse. Because Islam allows for this, he was within his rights. Amira had no objections to this; however, it deeply hurt and saddened her that she learned about the marriage through social media.
This broke her heart and sparked an online feud between the two wives, with each of their followers siding with one of them. This escalated into a terrible fight outside their homes because the two live in the same Syokimau neighborhood, albeit in different houses.
