Kenyan environmental lawyer Anita Soina. She is from the Maasai tribe. She was the author of The Green War. She established the Spice Warriors. In Kenya, it is a climate change advocacy group.
Soina founded the Spice Warriors in 2018. It was under the supervision of Eric Mastsanza. It was a Nairobi-based environmental initiative group. In Kenya, it stands for environmental sustainability. In addition, she will attend the "2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference" in November 2021. She spoke about her country's National Drought Emergency and flooding in the Great Rift Valley.
Soina's first political party was the United Democratic Alliance (UDA). She ran for the position of Member of Parliament. She was a member of Kenya's 13th Parliament, representing North Kajiado. She later left UDA to join the "Green Thinking Action Party" (GTAP) on March 24, 2022. She occupied the same position. She switched to GTAP because the party decided to waive the nomination fee for female candidates who run in the party's election.
