Tough talking points as game week 14 comes to an end in a dramatic fashion. Well, the premier league did not disappoint as expected. Just as gameweek 13, Arsenal remain on top of the premier league as the number one after their 2-1 win against Wolves. The championas, Machester City were held by Tottenhum Hotspur to open up a 3-point gap between them and the league leaders. Here are the 5 talking points from our round up and analysis.

Point 1; Arsenal, the elephant remains on top

Many expected Arsenal FC to go down after their impressive season in 2022-2023 football calendar. Well they have remained resilient and is likely to enter into another title race for the second season in a row. In game week 14, the gunners turned their attention to Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C and started the match quite brilliantly with quickfire team goals in the first half giving them a deserved lead in the first half.

The second started slower for the gooners as Wolves changed their shaped and was trying to get up field. However, they did not manage to break a strong Arsenal team until the 83rd minute when they capitalized on a mistake from Oleksandar Zincheko. The Ukranian should have cleared the ball but delalyed ending up losing position to the Wolves press.

Arsenal FC still remains the team to beat in terms of goal concession. They have conceeded the least number of goals in the premier league this season beating both Manchester City and Liverpool.

Point 2, Burnly get their biggest win in their premier league history

Vincent Kompany's men picked up three crucial points to easen up pressure on the relegation battle. Unlike their previous performance in the Championship, the Clarets have struggled to leave up to the expectation in the tier one of the country's football. They began the gameweek at the bottom of the table against their fellow relegation mates, Sheffield United. They managed to beat them 5-nill there by leapfrogging them.

Point 3, Everton pick 3 crucial points after their 10-point deduction

As many expected, Everton FC were not to go down with a fight. Since the premier league brutally chunked off 10 points from they, Nottingham Forest was their second match after losing 3-0 to Manchester United. D. McNeil gave them a lead in the 67th minute and that was enough for the Toffees to cling onto till the end.

It obvious they have appealed against the premier league for deducting points against them but they are not putting all their hopes in basket. That means, they are more likely to win their next fixtures.

Point 4, Manchest United Lose again in the Premier League

Manchester Untied were so good unter Eric Ten Hag last season but have barely managed to pick a rythm this season. After an impressive debut season for Ten Hag in the premier league finishing in position 3 and lifting the Carabao trophy, He seems to have lost the dressing room. His players look unhappy with Rashford appearing to swear while on the pitch, Sancho is sidelined for failing to apoligise to the manager and few other players out of form.

Onana was a hopeful purchase but has cost them the Champions league as they are likely to be dropped out after the group stage matches. In as much as their champions league form is so terrible, their premier league form has been fairly ok even though struggling to pick wins against top teams away from home.

On saturday, they traveled to Newcastle side and could barely play 3 or 4 passes in a good football. They ended up losing 1-0 but could have lost with more.

Point 5, Liverpool win in a dramatic way at Anfield, Manchester City draw their fixture against resilient Tottenham Hotspur

Liverpool welcomed Fulham FC at Anfield on Sunday evening as favorites looking to close the gap on Arsenal. However, things started getting tough as Fulham were ready to battle till the end. First half ended in a 2-2 draw and more was to come in the second half. It almost ended badly for Liverpool as Fulham picked up a late lead. But Liverpool swang in and quickly turned things around in their favor.

Elsewhere, Mancheseter City also welcomed Tottenham as absolute favorites. They were expected to win by a large margin considering Tottenham's recent form. Nonetheless, Tottenham was hot on fire and first took up the lead before coming back twice to pick 1 point from the champtions.
