Jimi Wanjigi: Kalonzo has nothing new to offer in Azimio coalition

Wanjigi criticized the former vice president's candidacy and claimed he had nothing new to give during a press conference on Sunday, March 3.
Wanjigi said the Wiper leader ought to take the previous prime minister's lead and give up on political activism. The businessman made the case that seasoned politicians should step down from politics to make room for fresh leaders because they are a contributing factor to Kenya's issues.
 

"Kalonzo Musyoka has hit the road positioning himself to take over leadership, but he should just take the cue from Raila and retire. He has nothing new to offer Kenyans and instead should usher in a new leadership in his own Wiper party," Wanjigi said.  

Wanjigi went on to criticize the leadership of the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party for putting more emphasis on Raila's chairmanship of the African Union Commission than on battling for Kenyans' concerns.
