Tottenham return to Premier League action against Aston Villa, a team with top-four ambitions similar to their own.
The excitement of Spurs' best start in more than 60 years has been somewhat dampened by back-to-back defeats and a string of injuries and suspensions to key players, and they will be aware that a third defeat in a row - especially against a Villa side on the rise - could prove costly come the end of the season.
Spurs will be encouraged by their recent form against Villa, having won 17 of their last 22 games in all competitions, but they lost both home and away to Unai Emery's side last season.

Team news for Tottenham vs. Aston Villa
Tottenham are still without James Maddison and Micky van de Ven, as well as Cristian Romero and Yves Bissouma, who are both suspended. Destiny Udogie is expected to return after serving his one-game suspension.
Giovani Lo Celso is expected to fill in for Maddison, while Eric Dier and Ben Davies are expected to remain at centre-back. Rodrigo Bentancur, who made one start and one 30-minute cameo for Uruguay during the international break, is fit to replace Bissouma.
Aston Villa have no new injury concerns and could see Jacob Murphy and Diego Carlos return for the game, though both are unlikely to play.
We believe Tottenham will win this match despite their recent form
