Analysis of Rhumba Japani
Sauti sol alongside The Sol Generation, Bensoul, Nviiri the Storyteller, Xenia Manasseh, Okello Max and Nairobi Horns Project, released an audio hit 'Rhumba Japani' on 5th June 2020.
It brings out the different living aspects and versatility in the city yet one thing remains same and common, the origin of rhythms. It portrays the diverseness of these two groups, brought together by music and rhythms. Similarly to the audio, the video executes the instrumentals and the lyrics, the diversity dress codes yet all is blended in a very artistic and fashionable way.
The set location of the video brought life and colour into the song. The recently launched 'Nairobi Street Kitchen' located in Westlands, Nairobi is a masterpiece on its own. '...We have captured the spectacular energy of this city all under one roof,' described their social media post.
