Sauti Sol is an afro-pop band formed in Kenya 2005. Its members are Bien-Aimé Baraza, Willis Chimano and Savara Mudigi. They first called themseleves Cappela group by renamed after Polycarp Otieno joined. It was until 2008 that they released their first song when they first hit the ground running. The first song was dabbed Mwanzo, as if that was not enough in 2011 they produced their second which was a top hit earning the band anumber of accolades and various nominations. From their website, Bien is a song writer and a vocalist who enjoys entertaining with his melodious voice.  Willis Austin Chimano is a vocalist, keytar and saxophone player, Willis had contested various channels and won, he was a well standout even before the group formation. Polycarp Otieno who is also the latest to join the group is a talented guitarist. His signature style – guitar riffs blends with the group’s mix of soulful vocal harmonies and drum rhythm.  avara Mudigi is a vocalist, percussionist, drummer and producer. Their very first, rather debut album was called Mwanzo which was dropped in 2009. In 2011, they dropped Sol Filosofia then banged their fans with an Ep titled Sauti Sol in 2012. In 2015, they dropped off Live and Die in Afrika which did very well. Afrikan Sauce landed in 2019, then in 2020 they dropped off Midnight Train which has snatched the wave.
