Gabriel Oguda is a renowned Kenyan journalist, Communist, media personality, and entrepreneur. Gabriel Oguda is well-known for his powerful writing and self-expression.
Gabriel Oguda started his career as Africa Regional Coordinator for the International Union for Health Promotion and Education (IUHPE) Student and Career Network (November 2010–December 2015). Gabriel Oguda served with IUHPE in a variety of capacities, including mapping health promotion activities throughout Africa, networking and collaborating with health promotion practitioners in Africa, and serving as a member of the ISECN New Media Group.
Gabriel Oguda previously worked as a Senior Programme Officer at the African Institute for Health and Development (January 2013–March 2018). He oversaw health promotion and noncommunicable disease programs.
Gabriel Oguda, a media expert, presently works as a communist with the Nation Media Group in Nairobi, Kenya. He joined Nation Media Group in February 2019.
Gabriel Oguda Early Life, Background and Age
Gabriel Oguda (age 41) was born to a devout Catholic household on May 6, 1983, in Kenya. According to the media expert, his parents called him Bildad after the well-known Kenyan politician, activist, and nationalist Bildad Kaggia Mwaganu. However, the Catholic priest at Barkorwa Parish refused to honor the name because it was not a saint name in the Catholic faith.
At his baptism, the Parish Priest gave him the name Gabriel, which means "God is my Strength" in Hebrew. The priest then sprinkled water on his head and baptised him. Gabriel has since been a standout youngster in his family.
Gabriel Oguda Education
Gabriel Oguda graduated from the University of Nairobi in Kenya with a Bachelor of Arts, BA in Anthropology.
In 2010, he advanced his career at the University of Bergen in Norway. Where he earned a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Public Health Education and Promotion.
Gabriel Oguda was arrested On Monday morning, one day ahead of demos by plain clothes police officers. He was later released as the national assembly speaker intervened.
