The fiery and well-spoken young lady was named after Winnie Mandela, a South African apartheid heroine and ex-wife of South African President Nelson Mandela. Winnie Odinga is Raila and Ida Odinga's fourth and final child. The late Fidel Odinga, Rosemary Odinga, and Raila Junior are her elder siblings.
