Savara, one of the band's two members, is an alumnus of Upper Hill High School, where the three began playing together and soon met Polycarp Otieno alias Fancy Fingers. After graduating from high school, Savara enrolled in Africa Nazarene University to pursue a degree in Commerce and Finance.

Savara is a drummer, vocalist, producer, and DJ in the band. Many people are unaware that he is also an actor and fitness enthusiast. During the airing of Sol Family, fans learned that Savara was a vegetarian who was strict about his food. Sauti Sol has evolved into a globally recognized band that produces and releases high-quality music. The band received a Grammy prize for their work on Burna Boy's Twice as Tall Album.

With the band members pursuing solo careers, Sauti Sol fans are being introduced to a completely new world in each of the band members' works. Savara is the final member whose first project has yet to be launched.

He is currently dating Yvonne Endo, whom he considers as his best friend and rock. Yvonne recalls Savara describing himself as a stripper when the two first met in Nairobi.
