Paul Okoye, better known by his stage name Rudeboy, was born on November 18, 1981.
He is a singer, dancer, songwriter, performer, and record producer from Nigeria.
He used to be a member of the P-square duo with his twin brother, Peter Okoye, also known as Mr.P.
RudeBoy rose to prominence in the 2000s while still a member of the group before they decided to leave and pursue solo careers.
Early Years
Rudeboy, born Paul Okoye on November 18, 1981 in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria, is from Ifite, Dunu in Anambra state. He has an identical twin brother named Peter Okoye (Mr.P).
Rudeboy was raised in a large family with siblings including his twin brother, Jude Okoye, Tony Okoye, Mary Okoye, Ifeanyi Okoye, and Lilian Okoye. They are commonly referred to as "The Okoye Family" or "The P-square Family." They are Anambra State natives, but the family lived in Jos, Plateau State, during the 1980s and 1990s.
As a student at St. Murumba Secondary School, he began his musical career.

Rudeboy joined a drama club and a music school, where he began performing covers of songs by MC Hammer, Michael Jackson, and Bobby Brown with his brother Peter. They began dancing at the same school. He went on to study Business Administration at the University of Abuja.
Career
Paul 'Rudeboy' Okoye began his career with the music group with his twin brother, Peter Okoye. It was an acapella group who were inspired by Michael Jackson's dancing moves. Their debut album, The Last Nite, was sponsored by a tobacco manufacturing company, and they were later nominated for a KORA Award.
In 2005, they released another album titled Get Squared on the Squared Records label. The album includes the song Busy Body. This song was a huge hit both in and out of the country, and it catapulted them to fame. However, the P-Square group split up in 2017, with both artists pursuing separate musical careers.
In the same year, Paul Okoye released his first solo tracks, Nkenji Kek and Fire Fire. His song, Reason With Me, received the most views on YouTube in Africa in 2019. He owns Fire Department Inc, a record label he founded in 2019.
