Alinur Mohamed was a Kamukunji Parliamentary hopeful in 2022 general elections in Kenya. He expressed disapproval of the decision by the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance to zone Nairobi in order to identify territories where parties under its umbrella would field field candidates.
The City Politician rose to prominence after it was revealed that he was involved with media personality Betty Kyallo, which he denied.
Alinur issued a series of tweets in January 2020, denying reports linking him to Ms Kyallo. At the time, he stated that the rumors lacked facts and were spread by individuals with personal agendas.
