Raphael Tuju went to two elementary schools. Nakuru West Primary School and Majiwa Primary School. He attended Starehe Boys Center for his high school studies after performing well in school.

He is also a graduate of Leicester University in the United Kingdom, where he earned a Masters of Arts in public communication.

Marriage.

It was on November 15, 1986, that he walked down the isle with Ruth Akinyi. A boy and twin girls were born to the couple.

Tuju did not understand his wife was having extramarital affairs until 2011. Tuju even has court papers outlining accusations against his wife. Career

Raphael Tuju begun his career as a journalist by profession.He was a pioneer news anchor in the KTN tv.

He also begun Ace communication company that was meant for documentaries about HIV virus in the 2000.He was also a columnist for the East African Standard,which was a local newspaper.

He also worked for UN which is an international corporation.

In 2002,he joined the political arena and was elected as the member of parliament for Rarieda Constituency.He served his people with dignity and established water projects and built 5 secondary schools.

2002 to 2005,He was a minister for Information and communication as well as the minister for tourism and wildlife.

He served as the constituency Mp until 2007.

In 2008-2011 he was the advisor for the Kenyan president on matters concerning media and management of diversity.

In 2017 he was elected as the secretary general for Jubilee party which was newly formed.
