Pretty Ncayiyane (born October 12, 1994), also known as Pretty Ncayiyana, is a well-known South African actress. Her face is familiar to television viewers because she has appeared in several popular television series.

Phindile in the fan-favorite series Scandal! was one of the roles that catapulted her into the spotlight. She is from Port Shepstone, KwaZulu-Natal, and has appeared in a number of stage productions.

The popular television actress was born on October 12, 1994, in Port Shepstone, KwaZulu-Natal (KZN). According to Youth Village, the actress was raised by a single parent. Her parents never forced her to do anything.

The actress chose acting because she wanted to connect with people while also telling South African stories. 

Despite her calm and collected demeanor, she excels in her role.

Career

She is well-known to television viewers as the actress who played Phindile on Scandal! Pretty has appeared in several theaters in addition to the popular E.tv series.
She appeared in Talking Spirits at The Playhouse in Durban in 2013. In the same year, Ncayiyane appeared in AntiChrist at the Baxter Theatre in Cape Town.
She landed a leading role in Sugary Spice at Olive Tree and Stable Theatre in 2014. Her distinct acting style, combined with her talent, landed her a role on television. Pretty made her television debut as the endearing Ayanda on Skeem Saam.

The actress first appeared on the SABC1 youth soapie in the fourth season in 2015, and then returned for the fifth season. She shot to fame in the following year, 2016, when she was cast as Phindile in Scandal! Nozuko made her first appearance on the show in an episode that aired in August 2016. She also had a recurring role as Lumka in Abomama, and Nozuko made her Mzansi drama series debut on April 8, 2018. 

In July 2020, she appeared as a celebrity guest with Lunathi Mampofu in an episode of #Karektas, a SABC2 variety comedy series.  
 

Her first starring role on television came in 2021, when she was cast in the Mzansi Magic telenovela DiepCity.  The show, in which she played Nokuthula 'Nox' Jele, explores the struggles four young women face as they try to make their way in the world. In the telenovela, her character, Nokuthula, works as a burglar in order to support her family.

Personal Life

According to her social media presence, Nozuko is also a social and loving person. She appears to be a friend of Natasha Thahane, a well-known actress. She has shared several photos of them having a good time. We have yet to learn whether they are friends or coworkers.
