Patrick Igunza is a seasoned radio broadcaster and producer at Hot 96 FM as well as a TV business reporter and host at Citizen TV. Career
Igunza currently works for Citizen TV as a senior business reporter and anchor. As the first student from Kenya College of Communication Technology, now Multimedia University, to intern at Citizen TV, he began his career at the station as an intern. At the top TV station in Kenya, he was one of the first interns to go on broadcast.
He spent a brief period at K24 in 2013 hosting Inside Business before returning to Citizen TV.
In addition, Igunza is a radio personality at Hot 96, where he hosts the daily evening program Hot Drive. The program airs from 3 to 7 o'clock. The journalist also introduced the business program Uradi. This is the first business program to ever air in Sheng' and it targets young business owners, namely those in their twenties and thirties. Patrick wed the love of his high school career. They had been together for 16 years and moved in together not long after finishing their O-levels. He is a loving father to his children.
In 2007, while Igunza was a second-year certificate student, he gave birth to his first child. The 22-year-old student at the time had to balance work, school, and providing for his wife, who was pregnant, and the child. He gave birth to his second child before finishing his third year.
When he informed his mother that his partner was pregnant, his mother was understanding and did not scold him.
