Nyamari Ongegu, better known as Nyanshinski, is a Kenyan singer, composer, and rapper. He rose to prominence as a member of the band Kleptomaniax, alongside Collo (Collins Majale) and Roba (Robert Manyasa).
The trio, which began in high school, went on to become a household name in Kenya. They released several singles, including "Freak It" and others. Nyanshinki left the group in the 2010s and began a solo career, releasing his debut solo album in 2020. The project was acclaimed for helping him establish himself as a solo artist.

When the group was formed, they intended to get exposure by recording on the Ogopa DJs label. Following the success of their first hit, "Freak It," in 2002, the band was encouraged to create new music and received several awards. They received the Chat Awards for Favorite Male Group in 2002 and 2003.
In 2006, Nyanshinki and his family relocated to the United States, causing him to leave the group. He returned to Kenya and began a solo career after ten years of working as a lorry driver in the United States. He is now regarded as one of Kenya's most prominent Hip Hop artists.
