Nicholas Kioko, a Kenyan YouTuber, has opened out about his terrible upbringing and his struggles before fame.
The digital content producer confessed that no one used to care about him, but he got it through with hard work and prayers.
He recalls waking up extremely early in the morning and camping along the Western Kenya road in search of customers.
For survival, he confessed that he worked as a beautician, applying nail paint and piercing ears.
He claimed that passengers looked down on him and told him he had no life, making him want to resign.
The former Citizen TV Journalist expressed his gratitude to his mother for always being there for him.
Born into a low-income family, the 26-year-old worked as a hawker for three years until rising to fame in 2021.
Nicholas' success came after he shared a video of Lulu Hassan's interview with Onsongo Comedy, which received over 1 million views.
Nicholas climbed from 9.6k to 100k viewers in a matter of weeks thanks to his consistency, tenacity, and hard effort.
