In 2005, MacG stepped down from his role on the show to pursue a new career path. He transitioned to radio, specifically the Gauteng-based radio station YFM. 

He worked at 947, a number one hit Johannesburg music station, for eight years, beginning in 2010. He is also known for hosting numerous notable events and performing alongside other big names.

He has collaborated with other Deejay powerhouses. MacG has collaborated with DJ Diplo, Afrojack, Black Coffee, Euphonik, and David Guetta, among others.

His podcast debuted in July of this year, with the launch taking place in 2018. It has served as a platform for many well-known figures in the entertainment industry to be interviewed.

Following his post, he became embroiled in a debate over "his hatred for gays." Following a complaint to BCCSA, the statement cost him his job at YFM.

Personal Life

Following a "assaults allegation," many people are eager to meet Macgyver Mukwevho's baby mama. A woman filed a case against MacG at the Midrand police station, alleging that he beat and kicked her to a pulp.
