Lethabo Mathatho began her radio career in 2006. She was employed by two commercial radio stations, Jacaranda and Capricom. She joined Manna TV as a presenter and program producer in 2008, two years after leaving radio.

A year later, in 2009, she was hired as the Programmes Manager at Limpopo's Community Radio Station, where she excelled. Lethabo shifted gears in 2011 to co-host the Ditlalemeso breakfast show on SABC's Thobela FM.  

Being a host on Thobela FM gave her massive popularity throughout the country, as well as many more opportunities. She joined the NYDA (National Youth Development Agency) and now gives motivational speeches, visits schools all over South Africa, and speaks to students.

Lethabo is also the founder of the Leroy Foundation in Seshego, Limpopo. The foundation is well-known for providing food and groceries to less fortunate families in Seshego. She has stated that she inherited her mother's giving nature.
