Kizz Daniel Early Years

Prior to adopting his stage name in May 2018, he was known as Kiss Daniel. In 2013, he secured a record deal with G-Worldwide Entertainment, but he left the label after a public contract disagreement and legal action. In November 2017, he established the Fly Boy Inc record label.

Kizz lost his father, Kola Anidugbe, to typhoid on May 29, 2015. On his father's birthday, June 17, 2015, he paid an emotional homage, describing himself as the "Stupid son" who was not there for his father. Instead, he pursued fame and abandoned his family because he believed that the typhoid that killed his father wasn't serious enough to investigate when the old man was still living.

2018 was a good year for him as a WOJU singer. On his hit "FOR YOU" he played Wizkid and on another single "One Ticket" he played Davido and from release he hit the charts within 24 hours.

On December 30, 2018, Kizz Daniel released his second studio album. The album contained 20 songs, including the pre-release One Ticket, which featured Davido. Other features on the album included Nasty C, Diamond Platiumz, Philkeyz, Demmie Vee, Dj Xclusive, Wretch 32, Diplo and Sarkodie.

The album was well received by music lovers and in the US he debuted at number 55 on the iTunes charts and within 24 hours of its release he reached number one on the world album charts. On June 25, 2020, he released his third studio album, King of Love.

Kizz Daniel Controversy: 

Kizz Daniel announced his separation from his record company, G-Worldwide, in November 2017 and the formation of his own label, FLYBOY I.N.C. He was sued, but he was found not guilty.

Kizz Daniel stated in May 2018 that he has changed his stage name from Kiss Daniel to Kizz Daniel, which was promptly reflected on his social media profiles. New Spotify and Apple Music accounts with the name Kizz Daniel and his new tracks were also created immediately.

In a press release published to media outlets in June 2018, Kizz Daniel's previous record label G-Worldwide made a move to hold the rights to the moniker "Kizz Daniel" and further advised the singer to refrain from using the name or face legal penalties.
