Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka was Kenya's eighth Vice President from 2008 until 2013, after serving as Minister of Home Affairs and Minister of Environment and Natural Resources under President Mwai Kibaki.
Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka was born on December 24, 1953, in Tseikuru, a remote section of Kenya's Mwingi District.
Kalonzo Musyoka Education
He received his basic education certificate from Tseikuru Full Primary School, then went to Kitui High School in Kitui for the O-Level and advanced level certificates from Meru School in Meru, where he graduated in 1973.
He graduated from the University of Nairobi with a Bachelor of Law, a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business from the Mediterranean Institute of Management in Cyprus.
Peter Musyoka Mairu and Sarah Malia Musyoka are Kalonzo's parents.
Lilian Koki Mutui and James Nzilu Musyoka are his siblings.
In 1985, Kalonzo Musyoka married Pauline Kalonzo. Damaris Musenya, Klein Kalonzo, and Kennedy Musyoka are their three children.
Klein Kalonzo, his youngest son, is a rapper who debuted in 2014 under the stage name K-Deuce.
Kalonzo Musyoka Politics
He started politics in the 1980s. He also became the deputy president to Mwai Kibaki in 2007-2013 after which he has ran as the deputy to Raila in 2 consecutive elections but lost. In 2022 he was to become the prime minister but lost to William Ruto.
