Mowzey's passion for music began in high school, but it wasn't until 2005 that he joined Jose Chameleone's Leone Island crew as a backup musician, recording his first single 'Jennifer'. He went on to record more songs such as 'Dagala' and 'Sweet Lady,' among others. Radio was one of the best musicians, performers, and songwriters our profession has ever known when he died on February 1, 2018.
Weasel, seeing his brother Jose Chameleone's fame, decided to pursue his education and instead chose music. Weasel recorded a couple of singles on Chameleone's Leone Island, but it was his collaboration with Chameleone, 'Bomboclat,' that brought him to the public.
Radio and Weasel left the Leone Island group in 2008 to start their own label, The Goodlyfe. Radio was known for his sweet R&B voice, whilst Weasel did Ragga and rapping.
They began with their smash tune 'Nakudata' featuring Omulangira Suuna, which heralded their big break. Lwaki Onumya, Zuena, Nyambura, and Bread and Butter were among the songs released by the duo. The duo cooperated with other artists such as Blue 3, Allan Toniks, G.N.L Zamba, General Ozzy from Zambia, Rachel Kay, Omulangira Suuna, and others in the same year, 2008, solidifying their standing in the music industry.
