Dr. Owuor's Biography in Summary

Dr David Edward Owuor was born in Yimbo, Bondo Siaya County Kenya. In a family of six girls and 3 boys, he is the second born to the late Hezekiah and Margaret Ochieng in Goma village Usenge.  His father was East African Community Prison Service official while the mother was a peasant farmer.

David Owuor began his primary education at Wambasa Primary School, Yimbo but had to transfer to  Jusa, Luzira and later, Kitalya where his father was transferred to as a civil servant. He further proceeded to Mbale Senior Secondary School and St. Peters College, Tororo for his ‘O’ level and  ‘A’ levels certificates.

He further joined Makerere University for a Bachelor of Science degree but later moved to the University of Nairobi, completing his first degree in 1988. After obtaining his B.Sc degree, David travelled to Israel for his Master's program at the Ben Gurion University of the Negev. He initially got two scholarships to Germany and Israel but chose Israel. Upon graduation, he returned to Kenya briefly and worked for the United Nations Environment Programme as a volunteer.

However in 1994, he travelled back to Israel to undertake a biochemical genetics doctorate at Haifa University and focused more on DNA sequencing. Upon completion, he moved to USA and joined Centre for Pharmaceutical Biotechnology at the University of Illinois, Chicago as a Post-Doctoral Fellow where he researched and taught in the College of Pharmacy, and specifically the Department of Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics.

The calling of Prophet Dr. Owuor

Dr Owuor says he started seeing the hand of God in him in 1987 when there was a civil distress in Uganda where he was doing his undergraduate in Makerere University. He preached peace but was forced to transfer his credits to University of Nairobi Kenya. 

In Israel, he says, the professors kept telling him if he knew about the Moses of the Bible. He did not understand, this was repeated in the US. Later in the early 2000s, as he was asleep, he heard the voice of God calll him three times by name. He panicked, however God helped him and grew up in it. He thus shifted to Kenya.

The prophet is known for wild prophecies. In June, October and November 2003, he predicated last December’s Asian Tsunami, America’s Hurricane Katrina and Pakistan’s earthquakes, all which came to pass.

In his meetings, millions gather and it is reported that cripples walk, the blind see, the deaf hear and many other human diseases and conditions are healed including HIV and AIDs.
