Wife
Ian's wife's name is Angel Ndlovu. She coordinates the Women's Fellowship and the Children's Ministry.The couple got married on April 20, 2013.

Ndlovu and his wife Angel have two sons.
Education
He has an undergraduate degree from Midlands State University. Ndlovu also earned a Master of Science in Banking and Financial Services from the National University of Science and Technology. Ian Ndlovu earned a doctorate in management studies from the University of South Africa. His doctoral thesis was titled "Commodity Price Volatility, Stock Market Performance, and Economic Growth: Evidence from the BRICS Countries."
Career in academia
He worked as a high school teacher specializing in Advanced Level Economics from April 2002 until February 2008. He began working as a university lecturer in January 2005. He began lecturing at Zimbabwe Open University in January 2005. Ndlovu worked part-time as a teaching assistant for Business Statistics, Money & Banking, Credit Risk Management, and Principles of Economics. Ian Ndlovu is a Lecturer in Economics and Econometrics at the National University of Science and Technology.
His responsibilities include contributing to the World Business Institute's research and conference activities as a reviewer, presenter/speaker at conferences, and workshops.
Career as a clergyman
Ian Ndlovu established Divine Kingdom Baptist Ministries (DKBM) in July 2008. In February 2008, Ndlovu moved from Gwanda to Bulawayo. According to the DKBM website, it was during this time that God inspired Ndlovu to build a church in Nkulumane, a Bulawayo suburb. The ministry began as a small prayer group of three people.
World Business Institute: Research for Growth
In 2015, he was named an Associate Fellow of the World Business Institute of Melbourne, Australia.
