Octopizzo (Don Papichulo), also known as Henry Ohanga, is a Kenyan rapper, songwriter, human rights activist, and businessman.
He rose to fame when his debut album, Chocolate City, debuted at number one on the Apple iTunes chart in its first week of release.
Octopizzo, who was born on October 30, 1983, spent his childhood in Kibera, which is located in the Nairobi district of Kenya.
He pursued his career in one of the world's greatest slums. He was influenced musically by artists such as Jay Z and Eminem.
Octopizzo received his primary and secondary schooling at St. Mary's Changamwe College in Mombasa.
Octopizzo began his musical career in Kibera, where he participated in various musical events, some of which he won.
With his recorded initiatives, he became a voice to be reckoned with across Octopizzo, who grew up in the slum and lived life at that juncture and decided to aid people from the grassroots. He established the Octopizzo Foundation to make his goal a reality.
Octopizzo rose to recognition after being recognized and promoted by globally recognized brands such as Coca-Cola, Safaricom, and Guinness.
