Diana Daisy, commonly known as Gau, is a Kenyan stand-up comedian who also works as an actor creating content for the internet.
She is without a doubt one of the top content creators that have emerged throughout the Covid-19 pandemic through comic skits and parodies.
Cartoon Comedian and other larger names have recognized her skill and contributed to her career advancement through features and collaborations.
Diana Daisy got the opportunity to audition and sing live at the Churchill Show in Utawala before the pandemic began in 2020.
Her path to success has not been simple, especially after quitting her position as a cashier at Tusky's Supermarket for a monthly wage of Ksh 10,000.

Gau is the firstborn child of her mother's two siblings, and she has one sibling brother named Eric Mwangi.
Diana Muthoni Maina, also known as Diana Daisy a.k.a. Gau, was born in Mwea Kerinyaga County in 1997, when her mother was still a teenager.
Her last name was given to her by her uncle, who became her guardian after she was orphaned at the age of four.
Diana's mother died when she was young, and her only memories of her mother are of the dying moments of her life.

Diana had two job possibilities after her contract with Tusky's grocery expired in 2019, both of which were likely to be difficult.
Her former supervisor called and asked her to return and extend her contract as a cashier.
She was meant to be paying school expenses for her brother, who was starting high school at the time, so she was in a difficult situation.

Diana Daisy and a buddy purchased a ticket to the Churchill Show live recording in Utawala while working as cashiers at Tusky's Ruai.
This is when she realized she could do standup comedy professionally on stage after witnessing the live standup comedy performances by many comedians on the show.
After the concert, she met with prankstar comic Nicki Big Fish, who recommended her to start trying out for comedy by going to Canivore auditions every week.
