Danstan Omari is a well-known Kenyan lecturer and lawyer. He began his career as an untrained teacher and rose through the ranks to become one of the country's most sought-after lawyers. He has represented former Chief Justice David Maraga, former Deputy President William Ruto, politicians, and the late Tob Cohen (he is still representing his family in the succession case and the murder trial). He has become well-known for representing women who have been dumped by their 'baby daddy'.

The well-known lawyer attended Nyamira Primary School and received 19 out of 36 points on the national examination. In 1978, he enrolled at Ruiru Secondary School and received a Division 3 in the national examination.

He went back to Kiabonyoru High School and studied with Interior CS Fred Matiang'i. He received a Division 2 and went on to Muguga High School for his A levels. He was accepted to Kenyatta University for a Bachelor of Education degree, but what he really wanted was to practice law.

He received his Bachelor of Education degree in 1990.

He received his Bachelor of Laws degree in 2008 and enrolled in the Kenya School of Law in 2009. After six months, he enrolled in the University of Nairobi's Master of Laws program.
He then traveled to Japan for a three-month study program on Juvenile Delinquency while continuing to study law.

He received his Bachelor of Education degree in 1990.

While awaiting admission to university, he began teaching as an untrained teacher at a school in South Mugirango before moving on to Kiabonyoru High School. In 1987, he enlisted in the National Youth Service for three months of intensive training before enrolling in university.

He was assigned to a school in Bomet after graduating from university, but he refused to go. He requested a transfer but was threatened with interdiction, so he declined.

Pamela is the lawyer's wife. As she lived near Kiabonyoru High School, he met her just as she was about to start at Kenyatta University. Except for her first semester of school, he paid for her university fees for both her Bachelor's and Masters degrees. She is a PhD candidate and a lecturer at Catholic University.

Pamela has also been helpful in paying his school fees while he was studying law. The couple has two sons, both of whom are boys.
