Celestine joined groups that staged the performance of set books in secondary schools after finishing form four. She also performed the role of 'Waceke' in the Kikuyu drama series Gwa Cibu.
In 2018, she was cast as Selina in Maisha Magic Swahili's telenovela Selina, in which she continues to act to this day. She was chosen on the third occasion she auditioned for Selina.
