Ayub Savula's Educational History
He finished his schooling at Manyonyi Primary School and took his Kenya Certificate of Primary Education examination in 1989. Following that, he enrolled in Lumakanda Boys Secondary School the following year, but completed his high school education in Vihiga High School. Ayub Savula participated in the Journalism diploma program at the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication in 2001.
Following that, he enrolled in Moi University's Communication and Public Relations program, where he graduated in 2010. He later returned to the same college for his master's degree in Philosophy in Communication.
Ayub Savula's Professional Journey
He worked as a regional news editor for Standard Media Group Limited from 1998 and 2007. He would eventually become the Managing Director of Cross-Continental Venture Limited before embarking on his entrepreneurial path, founded Express Media Group, which he still leads today. He also controlled Sunday Publishers, a company that made headlines in 2021 due to four years of unpaid taxes totaling Ksh 473,000,000.
