Annstella Karimi began acting in high school while attending St. Mary's Igoji in Meru County. Karimi's talent was noticed by the Kenya Aeronautical College (KAC) in 2014, a year after she graduated from high school, and she was chosen to represent them in that year's drama festivals in Nyeri County.
