Alexandra Ndolo was born on 13th August 1986 in Bayreuth, Northern Bavaria, Germany. She showed an early interest in sports, particularly fencing, and began her journey in the world of athletics at a young age.
Athletic Career: Alexandra Ndolo made her mark in the field of fencing with her exceptional skills and dedication. She specialized in épée. Her talent and commitment quickly gained attention, and she began competing at the national and international levels.
During the 2013 Summer Universiade in Kazan, Russia, she competed on behalf of Germany. She participated in the World Fencing Championships in the women's épée division in 2015, 2017 and 2019.
In the women's épée competition at the 2017 European Fencing Championships in Tbilisi, Georgia, Ndolo took home the silver medal.
Ndolo participated in the 2019 European Fencing Championships in Düsseldorf, Germany, and took home one of the bronze medals in her division. She participated in the European Fencing Championships in Antalya, Turkey in 2022 as well.
In the women's épée competition at the Cairo, Egypt-hosted 2022 World Fencing Championships, she took home the silver medal.
Every athlete faces challenges, and Alexandra Ndolo is no exception. She changed to fencing for Kenya and now has to pay for her own hotels when traveling abroad. She also recently complained on social media that there was no hotel booked for plus she was not registered for the competition tournament. She was really dissapointed by the Kenyan federation.
