Makokha Dances Energetically as Inspekta Mwala Actor Abdi Arrives with Isukuti Band to Mourn Wife

A video of actor Alphonse Makokha dancing joyfully a week after losing his wife, Purity Wambui, has touched hearts.

Why did Makokha and Abdi Munai dance?

Abdi Munai, a presenter for Radio Citizen and an actor in Inspekta Mwala, arrived at Makokha's Nairobi residence with an isukuti band, singing melodiously as people followed and recorded.

When they arrived to Makokha's gate, the heartbroken widower ushered them in, eagerly joining them in song and dancing. Makokha and Abdi entertained his neighbours by performing their distinctive dancing techniques to Luhya sounds.

The veteran Vioja Mahakamani actor was spotted happy and laughing as he danced about the compound with Abdi, the isukuti band, and a gathering of family and neighbours.
