Analysis of Heartbreak( Short Film )

Heartbreak is never a phase one is prepared for when in a relationship, more so, in a marriage, sealed with a covenant, promises, and vows. It is crushing when one starts questioning and seeking answers of whether they are in the right places in their lives. Willy Paul and Jamaica’s songbird Alaine, collaborate in a hit song, ‘Heartbreak,’ displaying challenges people encounter to find and keep love. What one has, is not exactly what they want or need, so they end up seeking these wants and needs from elsewhere. It results in, having them and the people with whom they are involved suffering emotional abuse. In this short film they, reflect on a young family with kids, and a young couple which shows, that this kind of abuse goes in deep and causes a lot of damage than what they think or perceive of the impact their actions have. As much as everybody wants a good life, they also deserve happiness, and it does not have to come with a cost.
