Analysis of Liwe

Well, it is said, sometimes love turns sour when we have too many expectations of how things are supposed or meant to be. Toxic relationships are a norm these days, whether it is; carrying baggage from previous relationships, ego, pride, materialism, narcist, infidelity, whatever the reason is, it has really affected the perspective of relationships or even getting into one. Otile Brown illustrates this form of toxic kind of relationship in his new visualizer single, ‘Liwe, by DJ Ike. In this song, he narrates the challenges he is facing as a man, with a lady who is so full of herself, in terms of, looks, fashionable attires, the attention she is getting from other people, makes her feel she does not need him. He goes ahead and tells he if she wants to leave, she can leave, but she better not regret it later when it is too late to come back. Toxicity has no gender, this means anyone can be affected, and all one wants in a relationship, is peace; mentally, physically, and spiritually, it is normal to have differences in the relationship, but that does not mean, the differences suffocates the other rather than meeting somewhere at a common ground. A good relationship oughts’ to be healthy.
