Susan Kaittany's Biography in Summary

Susan Kaittany is a Kenyan entrepreneur best known as the CEO of the Posh Palace beauty salon. She is also a former model and a lawyer by trade. Despite her celebrity as a beautician, Kaittany remains a mystery, particularly in her personal life. 

Early years 
The model grew up in Langata, Kenya, in a typical Kenyan family. Her father worked for the government, and her mother (Rosemary Kaittany) was a teacher who earned Ksh8,000 per month. Her mother eventually quit her job to open a travel agency. She is currently the owner and managing director of ATS Travel. Kaittany grew up with her siblings, though she hasn't said much about them.  

Career
Susan Kaittany was always interested in fashion as a child. This drew her to the world of modeling, particularly beauty pageants. She competed in the Miss World Kenya pageant in 2004, where she was a finalist. She also competed in the 2005 Miss Earth pageant, winning and being chosen to represent Kenya internationally. Kaittany became disillusioned with the modeling industry due to low pay and mistreatment of models. She then moved on to commercials, which she found more fulfilling. She did this while still a law student in college. Aside from commercials, Kaittany began working in her family's business, a travel agency that they had established.  

She is still employed by the company, where she is a member of the board of directors. Posh Palace, a hair and beauty salon in Kilimani, Kenya, is another of Susan Kaittany's businesses. She founded the company with her former friend Betty Kyallo before the two fell out. Kaittany took over the company after Kyallo left, and she is now the CEO.

 In 2021, she plans to expand her business by launching Polished by Posh, a luxury perfume line. Kaittany decided to try her hand at a reality TV show. She is one of the main cast members of the Showmax network's Real Housewives of Nairobi, which premiered in February 2023.
