Imu Ovaioza Yunusa (born December 30, 1993) is a philanthropist, entrepreneur, health practitioner, musician, and brand influencer. She is an A-list Facebook social media influencer known to all as Ovaioza.
She is the founder and CEO of Ovaioza Farm Produce Storage Business (OFPSB), a Nigerian agro-business. She also established an educational center for youths, the Ovaioza Skills Acquisition Center. The Nigerian Police Force recently arrested her for defrauding her company's investors out of 3 billion naira.
Mr. and Mrs. Yunusa's loving family gave birth to Ovaioza. On December 30, 1993, she entered the world. Her parents gave her the name Imu Ovaioza Yunusa. Ovaioza was born in Okene, Kogi State, but she is an Edo State native from Akoko-Edo. She is the family's first child and comes from a family of four. She spent her childhood and adolescent years in Okene with her family. Ovaioza learned how to be enterprising at a young age and began trading to earn money to meet her needs.
Ovaioza finished her elementary school education at a young age. She graduated from the College of Arabic and Islamic Studies in Okene, where she had studied for her high school diploma, in 2010.
She then attended the Nassarawa State School of Nursing and Midwifery. She graduated from the institution and became a Certified Midwife after three years of study. Ovaioza is a student in the Department of Biology at Bayero University in Kano State.
Ovaioza became a practicing health practitioner after graduating from nursing school. She worked as a midwife in an Abuja hospital. She continued to engage in entrepreneurial activities to earn more money while working at this job.
She was responsible for buying farm products from farmers and reselling them to resellers.
Ovaioza decided to quit her job and focus solely on her business as it grew. She established a storage business after amassing sufficient capital over the years. This resulted in the establishment of the Ovaioza Farm Produce Storage Business (OFPSB). She has successfully managed the business to become Nigeria's leading agropreneur.
She was able to invest in other businesses with the profits she made from OFPSB. As a result, Ovaioza is now the Founder and CEO of the Ovaioza Group of Companies.
The arrest was made after investors filed a complaint with the police on April 18, 2022.
We discovered she had purchased multiple properties around the world and was on her way out of the country when she was arrested. Ovaioza is currently being held by police.
Ovaioza has received awards from the All African Students Union (AASU) and the West African Student Union (WASU).
She also received the African Leadership Strategy and Transparency Development Initiative (ALSTD) Award.
Ovaioza is a married lady. In 2021, she married her longtime fiance, Mr. David. She has been in Abuja for several years. Ovaioza is currently thought to be pregnant.
Salawo Adavize Abdulmutalib is her younger sister. Her mother is Goodness Omeiza at the same time.
She is well-known for her charitable contributions to various NGOs and orphanages throughout the country. Ovaioza also purchased expensive gifts for some of her Facebook friends and held regular Giveaway contests on her page.
Ovaioza is accused of purchasing a $400,000 home in the United States and applying for a US Investment Visa in order to obtain her Green Card.
She has amassed a fortune quickly by running the Ovaioza Group Of Companies.
Ovaioza's net worth is estimated to be in the $5 million to $8 million range.
