Onesmus Kimani Ngunjiri is the current Member of Parliament for Nakuru County's Bahati Constituency. Kimani Ngunjiri was elected MP for Bahati in 2013 and re-elected in 2017. He is a Jubilee Party member. Prior to his dismissal, he was a member of the Departmental Committee on Lands and Natural Resources.
Banita Sisal Estate is where the outspoken Member of Parliament was born in 1953. In a family of ten, he is the fifth child.
Kimani Ngunjiri began his political career during the administration of late President Daniel Moi. He ran for the Bahati Constituency in the 2002 and 2007 general elections but did not win. In 2013, his political career flourished.
The outspoken national assembly member attended Bavuni Primary School before moving on to Michinda Secondary School in Elburgon, where he took his East African Certificate of Education (EACE) exams.
Ruth Muthoni Kimani is Kimani Ngunjiri's wife. They married in 1979, when he was only 26 years old. They are the parents of four children, two boys and two girls.
Kimani Ngunjiri is a businessman in addition to a politician.
