Christopher Thande Githara (born 6 January 1996), better known as Ndovu Kuu, is a Kenyan artist and composer who rose to prominence after releasing songs titled Ndovu ni Kuu alongside Khaligraph Jones and Boutross Munene.
Christopher Thande Githara, also known as Ndovu Kuu, was born in Kabete, Nairobi, Kenya, on January 6, 1996. He was the third child in a family of three.
His primary education was unknown, however he attended secondary school at Kahuho Uhuru Boys. He was accepted to Kenyatta University for a Geospatial Engineering program, but this did not suit him, so he transferred to the East Africa School of Aviation for an Aeronautical Engineering program.
Ndovu Kuu began his musical career at Kahuho Uhuru Boys, where he played instruments and was an active participant in music and theatrical festivals.
Ndovu ni Kuu is a song he wrote alongside Khaligraph Jones and Boutross Munene. Palema, his ex-girlfriend who cheated on him while he was at Kenyatta University, inspired the song. She even became pregnant and gave birth to the man.
The song was released on May 22, 2021, and it has over 1 million views on YouTube, however it was removed by YouTube a few weeks later due to copyright infringement.
Dexta Briyanka was the one who brought the infringement suit against them, as well as the defamation suit against Kenyatta University. "Mtoto Wangu akiitwa KU nitakataa," a lyric from the song goes. The quantity of candidates seeking admission had a significant detrimental impact on the institution. Despite the odds, they stated that the footage would be restored.
He grew up with his two old brothers, and we don't know if his ex-girlfriend Pamela is in another relationship.
