Mulamwa's Biography in Summary

A Kenyan comedian by the name of Kendrick Mulamwa, he is known for his emotive approach to comedy. Sometimes he refers to himself as Konki, very good at creating emotional jokes that relate with the Kenyan society and self esteem issues.

Mulamwa is a bright young person from the western region of Kenya who graduated from Kitale High School with honors and a degree in nursing. He prefers to play small-town jokes, which are mostly about food and dramedies..

In Eldoret, Mulamwa was introduced to a comedy troupe, where he first performed under the name Muindi. His desire to join the Churchill Show finally came true. Early in 2019, Mulamwa rose to fame after posting a comedy about high school pupils to his Instagram wall.

He has been getting his income from various sources like Churchill Show, Youtube, and even from KTN’S Talanta Mtaani show. He has struggled in making himself famous and in marketing his comedy in the highly competitive market.

Mulamwa was a married man whose wife is known as Carol. They are yet to get a child after his wife miscarried. They broke up after the misscarriage but got back a few months later. A year later they gave birth to a baby girl but have since broken up again. However, this time seemingly for good based on how much accusations they are throwing at each other. 

In his words, “We broke up a while back even before the baby was born and we both agreed. Kenyans only got to know about it the other day but we had already made our decision. Being a nurse I knew expectant mothers require a lot of care and so I decided we should hold on to the breakup story.”

He is usually viewed as being in the same levels with Flaqo Raz, Crazy Kennar and Brenda Jones

At one point, Mulamwa gave up on his comedic career. Due to numerous instances of online harassment, he tore and burned his garments. He received numerous insults, including claims that he was ugly and that his jokes were too dry. However, Kamene Goro was jubilant and said that Mulamwah had previously harassed her on social media. She has steadfastly refused to make amends for it.

Mulamwah was married to Ruth K through a traditional wedding in Muranga couny. The two are now expecting a child as his wife bestie Ruth K is heavily pregnant.
