Mr. Eazi, Oluwatosin Ajibade, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and entrepreneur. He is best known as the founder of the record label Banku Music, which is a fusion of Ghanaian Highlife and Nigerian Afro Beats music. Eazi began his career booking artists to perform at his then-college parties in Kumasi, Ghana.
Mr. Eazi began recording music after recording a guest verse on the song "My Life," which gained attention and popularity at KNUST. He released his first mixtape, "About To Blow," in 2013 and rose to prominence with the release of his first big hit, "Skin Tight," featuring Efya. Mr. Eazi is also known for his musical projects such as "Life Is Eazi - Vol 1, Accra To Lagos."
His music has been described as R&B-influenced but primarily Afro Beats. It's also been compared to the work of Beres Hammond and Gregory Isaacs. Mr. Eazi appeared at the Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival in 2019.

Mr. Eazi's first mixtape, "About To Blow," was released in 2013. Within a week, it was recorded and released. It featured the hit single "Bankulize" by juls. He released the juls-produced "Skin Tight" featuring Efya in 2015. It was his first major hit.
Eazi signed with Wizkid's Starboy Entertainment in 2016. He also released "Life Is Eazi, Vol. 1 - Accra To Lagos," which he said sold 200,000 pre-orders. It includes the hit song "Leg Over." Mr. Eazi has since released several other singles and collaborated with major artists from Africa and around the world.

Mr. Eazi, aka Oluwatosin Ajibade, founded emPawa Africa in August 2019. Empawa is a talent incubation initiative that was founded to nurture and support emerging African artists. YouTube Music supported the emPawa initiative.
In its first edition, thirty musicians received grants and mentorship to help them advance in their musical careers.
Education
In Lagos, Nigeria, Mr. Eazi attended primary school. He moved to Kamasi, Ghana, at the age of 16 and studied Mechanical Engineering at The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
