Mohammed Ali is a Kenyan MP and former journalist. He is well known for his show 'Jicho Pevu,' in which he investigated corruption, terrorism, and drug trafficking in the country. He is an award-winning journalist who is well-known for his work in the media.

Thika Muslim Primary School was where he received his primary schooling. He subsequently attended Moi University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in communication and public relations. He later attended the News Link Institute of Journalism, where he earned a diploma in journalism.

After receiving a diploma in journalism, he began working as an intern at Pwani FM for nine months without salary. He eventually quit and went to work for Kenya Broadcasting Channel (KBC). Ali then worked as a producer at Radio Salaam until joining KTN in 2007.
At KTN, he started Jicho Pevu, an investigative show in which he exposed various corruption schemes and drug trafficking. His fame grew at this time as he continued the show and received threats. In 2016, he revealed his interest in politics and announced his intention to compete for Nyali MP on the ODM ticket.
